Life

As they say, life's simple: make choices, don't look back.

Choose to believe in God, or pretend He's not there. Choose good or evil or choose not to choose and stay somewhere in between. Murder and kill or save and heal. Enjoy everything around you or bathe in contempt for everyone and everything. Think about consequences of your choices, or don't.

Love people or hate them, or don't care about them, or divide them into groups, and entertain your different feelings for each of them. Stay with people, or avoid them. Blend in, or become a hermit.

Love your country, or hate it, or don't care about it, or don't believe in states in countries. When the time comes, arm yourself and defend your people, or play on the grief, need and sorrow and make a fortune out of it, or kill yourself in despair, or defect, or hide and pretend there's no war going on.

Listen to the wise, or listen to the foolish, or listen to everyone, or listen to no one. Use your own judgement, or trust whatever you hear, or follow the lead of your heart, or that of your passions, or look around and follow the crowd.

Make plans or don't. Learn from history, or learn from mistakes of others, or from your own mistakes, or don't learn at all.

Take care of yourself, or leave it all to nature. Watch your health, or kill yourself softly and slowly, or kill yourself quickly.

Dream the dreams of immortality, or believe into ultimate end of all things. Accept that you'll die sooner or later, or don't. Live in constant fear of death, or look it in the face and smile, or don't think about it at all.

Limit yourself in every and any way you want, or live without limits. Find a path or stroll with no direction. Watch your step, or be ready for whatever lies ahead. Go and see whatever you crave for, or stay put and enjoy wherever you are.

Is there right or wrong? - Oh, who can tell! There's right in the eyes of God, and according to the laws of your land, and according to the thought of your people, and according to your heart, and your animal nature; but who can tell you there's one absolute right and one absolute wrong? Whatever we've been made for, we have an ultimate freedom of choice. There is no right or wrong. There is only what you choose and don't choose. Don't believe anyone who tells you there's only one way forward, that there are no alternatives. Just remember, and you know it with all your essence, there's always choice and you're the only one to choose.

Life as a land

Life is a land, where no one can stop you in any way. You can last a hundred years in some parts of it, only a few seconds in others. We are granted the precious right to go anywhere we want. We usually follow paths, choosing whichever way we like when we come across a fork. We can always choose not to follow roads, though. Sometimes we find ourselves in a dead end, which is always an illusion, requiring us to open our eyes again, see where we want to go and go.

We like some places and hate others. Once visited, some places will call you for the rest of your adventures, while we'd never want to return to others.
